This project aims to better inhabit and program the transition between land and water, specifically located along the northern mouth of the Inner Harbor Industrial Canal in New Orleans. Promoting an Urban Ecotone, which has buildings step back from the waterfront edge, allows for floodscaping, rainwater management, biodiversity, and restoration. Density is also a requirement in the future, as sea levels rise New Orleans residents will find themselves living on more densely programmed higher ground, such as seen here at 80 homes / hectacre
